It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Meet the artist

I am a collage artist from San Francisco. I was born and raised in the city, having roots in Hawai’i on my mother’s side. It has always been a gift to have a big family, learning from a young age the importance of community and how it lifts people up.

I grew up in a split household, so I have always had a sense of responsibility and individuality from a young age. I have seen how unconditional love is the one force that keeps us all connected. It is woven within our hearts and souls.

In highschool I was accepted into the Women in the Arts program which allowed me to build a portfolio and gain confidence in my craft. I chose collage as my medium and have been in love ever since.

Collage allows me to express what is inside and tell my story. It is a blessing to be able to share that with the ones I love and the world around me.

I love teaching classes to all ages and see people’s spirits lift as mine does every time I create and am able to let my emotions free.
